Black Friday & Cyber Monday Skincare Deals 2026

What actually discounts in skincare and what almost never does, whether to buy now or wait for November, and our live prices exactly as they stand today.

By Stephen V.Last updated How we pick

How this is funded: we earn a commission if you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. It never changes which product we recommend, and we’ll tell you when we’d skip one. Full disclosure.

Status as of our last price check, September 19, 2026: no Black Friday or Cyber Monday skincare deals have been announced yet, so there are none listed on this page. We will not invent one. Every buy button below already carries the live price and the date it was checked, and if Amazon reports a discount the struck-through list price and the percentage appear on the button automatically — so a genuine deal surfaces here on its own. We will add a dated deals section to this page when the November events actually begin.

The short version

  • Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26 and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Retailer sale windows are wider than those dates — Amazon’s 2025 event ran November 20 to December 1 — but its 2026 dates had not been announced when this page was written.
  • Prestige beauty discounts; drugstore actives mostly don’t. That split is the single most useful thing to know before you plan around November, and it is laid out with sources below.
  • Don’t ration something you actually use. If your sunscreen or cleanser is running out, buy it. Going without for eight weeks to save a few dollars is a bad trade.
  • We make no price predictions. Not a forecast, not a “expect around 30% off”, nothing. Everything numeric on this page is either a live price from our data layer or a figure attributed to a named source at the bottom.

What actually discounts in skincare

Two published sources do most of the work here, and they point the same way.

The first is Amazon’s own announcement of its 2025 Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday events. The beauty deals it chose to lead with were premium and luxury lines: up to 50% on select premium beauty from Lancôme, up to 30% on skincare and bodycare from Kiehl’s, ELEMIS, Sol de Janeiro and medicube, plus makeup and beauty tools. Not one drugstore actives brand — no CeraVe, no La Roche-Posay, no Neutrogena, no The Ordinary — appeared in that announcement. Those are the brands behind most of the products we recommend.

The second is Adobe Analytics’ measurement of where the deepest Cyber Monday discounts actually landed. The categories it names are electronics (peaking at 31% off list price), toys (28%), apparel (25%), computers (23%), televisions (22%), furniture and appliances (19%) and sporting goods (17%). Personal care is not on that list. That is not proof that nothing in skincare discounts — it is that the category does not turn up where the deepest discounting is being measured, which is a useful thing to know before you build a plan around it.

Why drugstore skincare behaves differently

A CeraVe cleanser or a bottle of The Ordinary niacinamide is already sold close to its floor every day of the year. There is not a 40% margin sitting there waiting for November. What moves those prices instead is a steady drip of mechanisms that run continuously: on-listing coupons, multi-buy promotions, and Amazon’s Subscribe & Save, which the company describes as up to 15% off on eligible subscriptions when five or more arrive in a single auto-delivery. Eligibility varies by listing, so it is worth checking the product page rather than assuming. The practical consequence is that for this half of the category, waiting for one particular Friday is not a strategy— the discount mechanism was always available.

Buy now or wait: by product class

This is reasoning from the sources above, not a forecast. Nothing here is a prediction about what any specific product will cost in November.

  • Sunscreen, cleanser, moisturizer you already use — buy now. These are consumables you will finish regardless. Running out and skipping eight weeks of daily sunscreen to chase a discount is a worse outcome than paying full price today.
  • An active treatment mid-course — buy now. Retinoids and acne treatments work on consistency. A gap in a twelve-week adapalene course costs more than the discount is worth.
  • Budget-tier single-active serums — timing barely matters. A meaningful-looking percentage off one of the cheapest items on the site is a very small absolute number. Buy when you need it.
  • Prestige and premium-priced items — waiting is reasonable. This is where the announced percentages have historically concentrated, and where the absolute saving on a discount is large enough to be worth the delay. If you are buying a premium serum, booster or eye cream as a gift and you do not need it before December, waiting is a defensible call.
  • Devices, tools and gift sets — November is their season. These are seasonal gifting products, and retailers promote them accordingly. We do not review beauty devices, and our view of gift sets is unchanged by the discount: a set is still five things the recipient did not choose.
  • Over-the-counter drug products — no prediction from us. Adapalene gel, benzoyl peroxide washes and the like sit in a different regulatory category to cosmetics, and we have no sourced basis for saying how they price in November. Check the live figure.

The discount curve through November and December

One genuinely useful pattern, and it is about the shape rather than the size. Adobe’s pre-season forecast for 2025 expected peak discounts of up to 28% off list price across retail. Its post-season data then showed discounts coming down from those peaks after Cyber Week — while still leaving real bargains through the first week of December, with the categories it tracks sitting several points below their Cyber Monday peaks. So the window is wider and flatter than the branding suggests: if you miss the Friday, you have not missed everything, and if something is out of stock on the Monday it is worth checking again the following week.

How to tell a real skincare deal from a decorated one

  • Compare against the recent selling price, not the list price. A struck-through “list” figure is a manufacturer reference price. It is not necessarily what anyone recently paid, and a large percentage off a number nobody was paying is not a saving.
  • Check the size, not just the price. Holiday editions and value packs change the milliliters. Our product pages print the size for exactly this reason — the honest comparison is cost-per-mL, and it frequently reverses the apparent ranking.
  • Check what the discounted version actually is. Brands run near-identical product names across sub-lines, and the discounted one is not always the formula that was reviewed. Confirm the strength and the format match what you meant to buy.
  • Ignore the countdown timer. Urgency framing is a design choice, not information about the price. If you would not have bought it in October, a percentage does not make it a good product.

How the prices on this page work

Every figure you see attached to a product on this site comes from a live retailer data layer that refreshes daily, and every one is stamped with the date it was checked. Nothing is stored in our writing. If that data goes more than 48 hours stale, the numbers disappear on their own and the buttons fall back to “Check price on Amazon” — the failure mode is silence rather than a stale claim. When Amazon reports a discount, the struck-through list price and the percentage off render on the button automatically. That is the whole mechanism, and it is why this page can be honest about having no deals to show today: if there were one, it would already be visible below. Our methodology page explains the rest of how we pick.

What we will do in November

When the events actually begin, we will add a dated deals section to this page listing the products we already recommend that are genuinely discounted, with the live price and the date attached — and nothing else. We will not add a product to this site because it went on sale, we will not repeat a percentage we cannot see in the live data, and if the products we recommend are not discounted, this page will say so. Bookmark it, or follow the feed.

The Ordinary

Retinol 0.5% in Squalane

Our top retinol: a stated 0.5% in a squalane base, from our budget tier. A percentage off a number this small is a small number — this is a buy-when-you-need-it product.

Frequently asked questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

Friday, November 27, 2026. Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Those dates are fixed by the calendar. What isn't fixed is how long any given retailer's sale runs — Amazon's 2025 Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday events ran from November 20 through December 1, but the company had not announced its 2026 dates when this page was written.

Does skincare actually go on sale on Black Friday?

Some of it does, and it is not evenly spread. Prestige and luxury beauty is where the announced percentages concentrate — Amazon's own 2025 Black Friday announcement named Lancôme, Kiehl's, ELEMIS, Sol de Janeiro and medicube, and no drugstore actives brand at all. Meanwhile Adobe's published list of the deepest measured Cyber Monday discounts covers electronics, toys, apparel, computers, televisions, furniture, appliances and sporting goods; personal care isn't on it. So expect real deals at the prestige end and much less movement on the drugstore staples.

Should I buy skincare now or wait for November?

It depends on the product class. If you're running low on something you already use — a sunscreen, a cleanser, an acne wash — buy it now; a gap in use costs you more than a discount saves. If you're eyeing a prestige-priced item you don't urgently need, waiting is reasonable, because that's where the announced discounts land. If it's a budget-tier single-active serum, the absolute saving is small enough that timing barely matters.

Are Black Friday skincare prices really the lowest of the year?

Not necessarily, and we won't claim they are. Adobe's pre-season forecast for the 2025 season expected peak discounts of up to 28% off list price across retail, and its post-season data showed discounts coming down from those peaks afterwards while bargains continued into the first week of December. For drugstore skincare specifically, coupons and Amazon's Subscribe & Save — up to 15% off on eligible subscriptions when five or more arrive in one delivery — run year-round and are often the bigger lever.

Will you post actual deals on this page?

Yes, when they exist. Right now there are none to post, and we're not going to invent them. Every buy button on this page already shows the live price with the date it was checked, and if Amazon reports a discount the struck-through list price and the percentage appear automatically — so a real deal shows up here on its own, without us writing a word about it.

How do I know a Black Friday price is a genuine discount?

Check it against the item's normal price rather than against the struck-through 'list' figure, which is a manufacturer reference price and not necessarily what anything recently sold for. A percentage off a number nobody was paying is not a saving. Our buy buttons show the live price with the date attached, so you can compare what it is today against what you see in November.
